Scope of Services
Tutoring services are provided for educational support purposes only. Sessions may include explanation of concepts, guided practice, feedback on work, and study strategies.
Tutors do not complete assessed work on behalf of students and do not guarantee specific grades or outcomes. Academic progress depends on student effort, engagement, and independent work outside of sessions.
Tutors and Delegation
Tutoring services are provided through the tutoring organization and may be delivered by different qualified tutors. Assignment of tutors may change based on subject area, availability, or scheduling needs.
Scheduling and Session Length
Sessions are scheduled in advance by mutual agreement. Session length and format (individual or group) are confirmed at the time of booking.
Payment
Payment is required as agreed at the time of booking, whether per session or as part of a package. Rates are communicated clearly prior to the first session.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with insufficient notice may be charged a $25 cancellation fee, as the time has been reserved explicitly for the student. Exceptions may be made in case of emergencies or at the tutor’s discretion.
Introductory Sessions
Introductory or first-session rates are offered to allow new students to assess fit and approach. These rates apply only to the first session unless otherwise stated.
Communication
Tutors will communicate through agreed channels (e.g., email). Response times may vary, and tutoring support outside of scheduled sessions is not guaranteed unless explicitly arranged.
Confidentiality
Student information shared during tutoring sessions is treated as confidential and used only for educational purposes.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking or participating in tutoring services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
This agreement is intended to promote clarity, professionalism, and a positive learning experience for all parties.
